Version: 2026-10-13. This Data License ("License") governs every file you obtain through DepthFeed bulk data downloads, whether through the dashboard or the /v3/dataroutes. It is an agreement between you and VCorp, operating DepthFeed ("DepthFeed," "we," or "us"), and supplements the Terms of Service, which continue to apply. If the two conflict in respect of bulk files, this License controls. You accept it once, in the dashboard, before your first order; acceptance is recorded against your account with the version above.
1. What is licensed
A bulk file is a sealed archive of one UTC day of one table, described in the catalog by its size, row count, content hash and version. On payment we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download the files in your order and to use them within your organization for internal research, analysis, model development, backtesting and trading. "Your organization" means the legal entity that holds the account and its employees and contractors acting on its behalf.
2. What you may not do
You must not, directly or through another person, account, key or service:
- redistribute, resell, sublicense, lend, lease or otherwise make the files available to anyone outside your organization;
- host, publish or mirror the files, in whole or in part, where any third party can reach them;
- offer the data to third parties, whether raw or trivially transformed, including by reformatting, resampling, filtering, joining or relabelling it, or by serving it through an API, feed, download or data product;
- remove or obscure any attribution or notice in the files or their manifests; or
- use the files to build or train a product whose purpose is to substitute for DepthFeed data.
3. What you may do
You may create and keep derived analytics, signals, statistics, models and aggregated products built from the files, and you may publish or sell those, provided they do not expose or permit reconstruction of a substantial part of the underlying records. Reasonable excerpts in research, reports and support requests are permitted with attribution to DepthFeed.
4. Credits and payment
Bulk downloads are paid from prepaid data credits. Credits are purchased in advance in whole dollars, are tied to your account, are not transferable to another account or person, and are usable for twelve months from the date of purchase, after which any unused balance lapses. An order is charged at the moment it is placed, against the manifest sizes of the files in it, not against bytes transferred. Download links may be issued again without charge for thirty days after the order.
All orders are final. Credits spent on an order are not refunded, in whole or in part, for any reason, including files you do not download, files you no longer need, a change of mind, or a source condition of the kind described in section 6. You confirm this in the dashboard before every order. The only exception is a file we cannot deliver at all within the thirty day link window, in which case we credit that file back at the price paid. Unspent credits are not refunded either; they remain on the account until they lapse.
5. Sealed days and versions
A day is offered only once it has been sealed, and what you purchase is the version identified in the catalog by its hash. If we later reseal a day, that is a new version: links to the version you purchased stop being issued, and your license to the copy you already downloaded continues under this License. We may, at our discretion, extend access to a resealed version without charge, but are not obliged to.
6. No warranty
Files are provided as recorded. Beyond the size, row count and hash stated in the manifest for each file, we give no warranty of completeness, accuracy, continuity or fitness for any purpose. Capture gaps, venue outages, empty books and later corrections are source conditions, not defects. All other warranties, express or implied, are excluded to the extent the law allows, and the liability limits in the Terms of Service apply.
7. Audit
On reasonable notice, and no more than once in any twelve month period unless we have grounds to suspect a breach, you will give us the information we reasonably request to confirm that the files are used in accordance with this License, including where they are stored and who within your organization has access to them.
8. Termination
We may terminate this License and suspend bulk downloads immediately on breach. On termination for breach you must stop using the files, delete every copy within your control, and confirm deletion in writing on request. Credits already spent are not refunded, and the unspent balance may be withheld pending resolution of the breach. Sections 2, 3, 6, 7 and 8 survive termination.
9. Changes
We may publish a new version of this License. A new version applies to orders placed after you accept it in the dashboard; orders already placed stay under the version you accepted at the time. Questions go to support.
